Sunday School

Children's Sunday School classes are for 4 & 5 year olds 1st-3rd grades and 4th-6th grades. Dee Kroner is our Children's Sunday School Superintendent. See Dee if you want to make a difference in a child's life.

2010 Summer & Fall Children's Ministry at LWC:

The summer started with a fabulous adventure at sea during our "High Seas Expedition" Vacation Bible School. During this fun-filled week the kids learned about God's plan and love for them.

Our annual Harvest Festival Carnival was held on October 23rd. It was a time where all the kids enjoyed games, crafts, fun, candy to the breaking open of 2 pinatas. Each child was given a ticket upon arrival and they were instructed to hold on to this ticket as the next day, Sunday, October 24th, two numbers were drawn and those children won bicycles. Two very excited boys won bicycles.

The children even got a taste of what it takes to make things happen by making and selling caramel apple pies to raise funds to help with our annual Harvest Festival Carnival and for our 2011 "Joseph's Journey to Egypt".

During our weekly Sunday School time and Children's SUPER Church held each Sunday & Wednesday the children hear about and experience heroes, feasts and tales about whales; along with sound Bible teachings. LWC children benefit from the love and mentoring of devoted adults dedicated to seeing them develop into the radiant gems that God sees them as.

2011 begins with "Joseph's Journey To Egypt" for children ages pre-K through 6th grade starting Sunday, January 30th and continuing each Wednesday & Sunday there after through February 27th. During this adventure the children will experience with Joseph(of the coat of many colors) his trials and triumphs when he is taken from his home and flung into the strange land by the Mighty Nile river.
